Bright and early this morning Cornwall Curling Club’s own Team Schut started their travels to the Canadian Junior Championships in Stratford Ontario!

Earlier in the week Cornwall Curling Club Board of Director Member and Chair of Events, Sharon Campbell dropped into the club to present Mitchell, Chase, Cruz, Liam, and coach Pat Quilty with a recognition prize on behalf of the members of the Cornwall Curling Club.

This recognition prize is intended to help Provincial title winners with expenses that are incurred with travel related to travelling to Nationals.

Sharon congratulated Team Schut on their Provincial Championship win, and wished the team the very best of luck on behalf of the entire membership at the Cornwall Curling Club!

Team Skip, Mitchell Schut thanked the membership of their home club for the thoughtful support… and let us know they would proudly represent PEI and the Cornwall Curling Club at the Nationals event. Mitchell also thanked all of the members who generously supported Team Schut in their most recent fundraiser!
