Bob MacWilliams is heading to the mainland!

As I’m sure many of you know by now, one of Cornwall’s long-time members, Bob MacWilliams, has sold his house in Long Creek, and is moving to Sackville New Brunswick. Bob will be greatly missed by our club for his many roles: a “super-spare” who could play any position, “Mr. Fix It”, who kept our electronic gadgets working, a great volunteer, one of our great ice-makers, and the butt of many Boomer Gallant curling jokes on Compass. He’s also a pretty good curler, in recent years skipping provincial championship teams in the Masters and Senior Mixed events, and winning medals at the 55+ games.

Here we see Bob (right) handing Monday night pebbling duties over to Danny Kneabone. We sure hope tonight’s “trainee” ice pebble was ok!

macwilliamskneaboneGood luck to Bob in his new endeavors, and drop in for a game whenever you’re in town!
