There were some exciting games on the final evening of round two of the Wednesday Evening Ladder League, especially the very close one where Team Currie handed Team Callaghan, who captured the “B” Pool for round one, their first loss in the Round Two “A” Pool. although Team Callaghan still came out as the winners of the round.

The “B” Pool was won by the Kelly Watts team, who also had only one loss in the round. Kelly was not in attendance the final night, so she missed out on the photo op!

Teams Watts and Kamphuis, with six wins, along with Robertson with five, will be climbing the ladder to the “A” pool for Round 2, starting February 15, while teams Callin (6 losses), Groves (5 losses) and Currie (4 losses) will be descending the ladder to pool B for the final round.Team Tyler MacKenzie also had 4 losses, but beat Team Currie in their game on Feb. 1st, so will once again stay in “A”.

Important: We have been informed that we have no ice available on March 22nd, due to the Club hosting the PEI Curling Club Championships, which means that we are now short one week for our final draw.
