Here are some photos, courtesy of Bev, from the exciting removal of the brine chiller from the Club. The thing, which is a big heat exchanger, weighs half a ton! Lowther Refrigeration, with supervision from our icemaker Lance Lowther, did the work, with Donnie Lowther deftly handling the backhoe, extracting the unit from the club like a giant pair of tweezers! The unit is being welded at Livingston's and should soon be back to its normal winter job chilling brine to keep our great ice in a solid state!
