We shared a picture of dirty broom heads recently, but this is a specific reminder to deep clean OR REPLACE your gripper.
- Gripper rubber breaks down over time and sheds onto the ice
- The INSIDE collects dirt, grime, etc. and every time you take your gripper off it leaves some on your slider, which leaves it on the ice.
- The start of the season is a great time to replace the gripper.
Our ice crew have noted they are already having a hard time keeping up with the little black bits of rubber on the ice!
