The first round of the Thursday evening Single Entry Mixed League came down to a tight finish between the rink of Landon Warder, Robbie Gauthier, Jennifer Lenentine, and Laurie Kelly, and the team of  Bruce Thompson, Katelyn Burgoyne, George Piercey, and Patricia McCarville.  At the end of the last evening of the draw (which ended up shortened due to the 2-week Circuit Breaker shutdown) it appeared that Bruce’s team had the lead, but when points were calculated for Landon’s bye, it gave Landon and his team the first-place honours, with 86 points to Bruce’s 76.
