It was a great opening day of round robin play on Thursday at the Special Olympics Winter Games in St. Albert Alberta, with the PEI curling team winning both their games in impressive fashion – 8-3 over the North Bay Ontario Rockers, and 9-3 over the team from Powell River BC. Team PEI finishes up round robin action against Nova Scotia this afternoon. The bronze and gold medal games are on Saturday.
