Good to go! Boyd Anderson back on the ice after stroke

Club member Boyd Anderson suffered a stroke which began while at the Club on January 31. He was hospitalized at the QEH, but, we are happy to say that he has recovered very well!
He’s been back curling for a couple of weeks but was instructed not to sweep until he was assessed. Boyd has now had his on-ice sweeping assessment, with his physiotherapist, Mark MacKenzie, who has given him the okay to continue. Jim Orr was throwing for him during the assessment. Mark said “Boyd has worked very hard and it’s great to see him continue to be active in the community with what he enjoys”. Welcome back!
Here are a few pictures from the assessment, Boyd is, of course, sweeping (and wearing a helmet). Jim Orr is wearing the white vest, Mark is in the gray hoodie.
