There will be A LOT going on at the club over the next week and a half with the Grand Slam of Curling in town.

As many of you know we are hosting practices for the Grand Slam participants. 

We are also hosting SIX junior clinics, facilitated by Grand Slam curlers.

We’re having an OPEN HOUSE on Monday, September 30th which includes a BBQ from 5pm-7pm with oysters at 6pm and live music as well.

Each morning next week (Mon-Fri) we’ll also be hosting breakfast for the curlers, as well as club members and visitors at the club to watch practices from 8am-10am.

And, of course, we’ll have the TV in the club going with the Grand Slam on for those who would like to watch with friends at the club.

We’ll be running a 50/50 throughout the week, with a drawing being held next weekend.

With SO MUCH going on we didn’t want to bombard all of our members with hundreds of emails over the next few days so we are sending out this one notice with a broad overview of information and directing everyone to bookmark the GSOC Club Events page on our website which can be found at: https://cornwallcurling.com/gsoc/

That page will be your one stop location for all the most up-to-date information about which teams are practicing and when, junior clinics, social events, etc.

PS:  For those members without mobility issues, we are requesting that you park in the BACK LOT of the Murphy’s Pharmacy building and walk over to the club to save spaces closer to the club for visitors and those with mobility issues.  We’ll have the doors to the main entrance foyer upstairs unlocked as well.
