Holland College ready to challenge at nationals

The Holland Hurricanes are ready to compete in their final National Championship of the 2015-2016 season this week when the women’s curling team takes on the country’s best in London, Ontario for the 2016 CCAA National Curling Championships hosted by Fanshawe College.

The Hurricanes team of four is made up of Jaylene Holmes-Tang (Skip, Gravenhurst, ON), Bethany Dauphinee (Second, Liverpool, NS), Breanna Huntley (Third, New Minas, NS) and Kellie-Lynn Younker (Lead, Cornwall, PEI). The team is coached by Angela Hodgson who is in her fifth year with the program.

The ‘Canes will play seven games beginning on Wednesday through Friday with the tie-breaker, semi-finals and championship games taking place on Saturday.
