The Battle of the Sexes mini-tournament (won by the women when it was first held two years ago) was played this morning,  with the ladies off to a good start,  being ahead in points after the  first round of  play.

The men then woke up and came out flying — going ahead  after the second round. They never looked back,  winning  by a good
margin at the end of the draws ( having a year off  and  preparing themselves for  today evidently paid off). Congratulations  guys, well done!
It was a  fun day for all,  and that’s what it is all about. A delicious pizza lunch was  enjoyed by all,  and door prizes  were given out, too.
Now that both sides are even, we  can’t wait ’till next year to break the tie!
