While the O’Connor Glass Cornwall Classic was hosted in November, our club and community continue to benefit from the event that welcomed top Canada Games-age teams from across the Atlantic region!
Earlier this week, Event Co-Chair Robbie Lenentine presented $115.00 to the club as a donation to our Junior Programming to go towards the purchase of new equipment that the program may need. The money was raised through a bake sale the event held. A big thank you to Heather and Robbie Gauthier, bakers extraordinaire!
While Robbie and our Junior Coordinator Sarah Doak, were not able to connect for a photo….we were able to catch Sarah, along with long-time Novice Instructor Greg Groves, for a picture!
Yesterday Robbie (left in photo) was joined by his Co-Chair Jennifer Lenentine (right) and Cornwall Curling Club Daytime Committee Chair Paul Durant (centre), as they presented the Daytime Committee with $355.00 for donation to the Cornwall Food Bank Drive that our Daytime Committee is currently leading.

A heartfelt thank you to David and Margaret O’Connor at O’Connor Glass for their sponsorship of the Cornwall Classic, as without their generosity and community spirit, these donations could not be possible.
A special thank you to Club Members Robbie and Jennifer Lenentine for their time and dedication to growing the game of curling at our club and in our community.
We also thank those participants and spectators at the O’Connor Glass Cornwall Classic for their contributions to these donations.
