Our sympathies to the Nicholson family on the passing of Willie Nicholson at age 93

Longtime curler, curling fan, and curling sponsor William (Willie) Nicholson passed away on Friday at age 93. He continued to curl at our Club until a few years ago (photo is from the Canadian Stick Curling Championship held here in 2013) and, of course, the business he helped found, New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, is a great sponsor of our club. Our sympathies go out to the Nicholson family, including daughter Sandra Sobey, son Carl and grandchildren Avery and Davis, all of whom are Club members, and sons Barry and Gary who are also curlers.
