The Club was happy to host the annual ParaSport Minispiel this Saturday with a total of 32 curlers – including six ParaSport athletes, several recent graduates of our Adult Learn to Curl program, and Club members.
Lots of fun was had on and off the ice!
The team of Donald Weeks, Daniel Savoie, Donna Marie, and Chris MacDougall took home first place- and their luck didn’t end there with three of the team members also having their names drawn for the door prizes!
The team of Melanie Melanson, Richard MacEwen, Connor MacEwen and Robert Thomas came in second place.
The team of Peter Warder, Stella Walsh, Tim Anningson, Ellen Milligan, and Gary Milligan won third place.
Thanks to Tracy and Vivian at ParaSport for helping organize this event – which is always a highlight of the curling season at the Club. Special thanks also go to Bill McGuire and the Warder family for all their help, not only at this event, but throughout the ParaSport season.
