Renting one sheet of ice for 8 curlers for two hours is a bargain at $9 a person taxes in (it’s cheaper than adult bowling, the movies and many other activities!). We provide the renters with curling brushes, and sliders – just bring clean sneakers, and wear stretchy or loose pants. We can also provide basic curling instruction, and bar services are available, too!
We can seat up to 100 people in our clubhouse area. Facilities are also available for rental in the upstairs Civic Centre hall. We have a number of catering options available, or you can use our kitchen facilities at no additional cost.
Our ice rental rates have been revised for 2013-2014 to take into account the HST. In order to help reduce the impact of the additional tax, the Club will be taking a 5.5% decrease in our revenue on rentals this year over last. The total rate after tax to the renter will increase slightly (2.6%), as we now have to charge HST at 14%, instead of GST at 5. Here are this season’s rates
One-sheet rental for two hours: $63 +HST = $71.82
Four sheets for two hours: $153+HST = $174.42
Four sheets for four hours: $248 +HST = $282.72
Four sheets for eight hours: $437+HST = $498.18
