Return to Play Public Health Guidelines reminders

Our Return to Play committee says that we have been doing pretty well here at the Club following the Public Health guidelines that are in place, and which allow us to continue to play the sport we love.  Here are a few reminders of things which are different under the guidelines, and that we need to keep practicing:

1-Wearing masks or face coverings in indoor public places on PEI is now mandatory. When we sit at tables while eating or drinking we may remove them, but when we are in the clubhouse area and leave the table for any reason we must put them back on.

2-While on the ice players must respect physical distancing guidelines. If you can reach out your hand and touch the player next to you, you are too close! While this may not seem like a big deal to some, it is a very big deal to others. Be sure to respect other players’ spaces.

3-New layout reminder: those sitting on the Fireplace side are to enter and exit the ice house through the Sheet 1 door only. Curlers sitting on the Office side will enter and exit the ice through the Sheet 4 door only. Please keep all of your belongings (brooms, outerwear, boots, bags, etc.) contained within your designated seating area. With evening league curling the early draw normally goes to the Lounge/Fireplace side, while the late draw stays on the Office side.
