Curl PEI, with help from Fresh Media and PEI’s seven dedicated curling facilities, is launching a new website to help get more people interested in our sport and into our clubs, by explaining how the game works, how to rent the ice, join a curling club, etc. – everything you need to know to “give curling a shot”. The official launch is in January, but the website is ready to go now, at RockTheIce.ca.
You can find a link to it on the masthead of our website, CornwallCurling.com. There’s info there on the “Rookie Package” ice rental deal, where you can rent the ice for two hours for $80 taxes in (that’s our standard rate, anyway), i.e. $5 per person per hour, and some great videos and other information on curling, and how to take up the “Roaring Game”. Check it out!
Note that we have holiday ice rentals available starting tomorrow, the 27th, through Jan 4 (excluding Jan 1st). Get the gang or the family together for some fun and exercise, and maybe even a family bonspiel, over the holidays!
