It was an exciting Qualifier Night, as curlers got used to the new rule where either skips or the active sweeper can now sweep behind the tee-line when their team is delivering, and there were some thrilling games, too!

Mark MacDonald’s rink loaded up the scoreboard and finished their game early, while Dave Younker and his team made a big comeback, following a four-ender with a triple. The battle between the Firefighters and the U18 champs was close, with the younger Team Snow coming out the winners. The Firefighters were down two regular members, going with one spare.

At the end of each round, the bottom three teams from the A pool and the top three teams from the B pool will change pools.

We will use the same Curling Canada-approved draw we have been using in recent years as it seems to have a good sheet allocation.
