On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Larry Nigh passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, aged 66. He was the beloved husband of Laurie Stoddart (nee Jones).

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his children, Willis (Natsuko), Shelley, Kelsey Stoddart (Greg) and one precious granddaughter, Emma.

He is also survived by siblings, Ila Rush (Lloyd), Lois Brown (Lowell deceased), Helen Ellis (Ed deceased), Keith (Nancy) and Grant (Karen).

Larry was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Alma (French) Nigh; and siblings, Erma Barkey and Carol Keuken (Ben).

Larry was overwhelmed by the prayers and encouragement of family and friends (old and new) throughout his illness, including many practical things. A meaningful verse that has been a comfort to him comes from Philippians 1:21 “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
