Club members are reminded that the deadline to sign up for our Club Travelers Curling Club Championship playdowns is Monday Feb. 23.
Our men’s and women’s Club championships for the Travelers (formerly The Dominion) Curling Club Championship will take place the weekend of February 27 to March 1st. Entry fee is $100 per team. This event takes the form of a cashspiel. No food or prize table provided, but 50% of entry fees will be paid out as cash prizes. Teams must be comprised of regular Club members (no curlers from other clubs). We have relaxed the rule regarding curling together regularly, but the other Travelers requirements are in effect. The winning men’s and women’s teams move on to the provincials – March 27-31 in Crapaud. The winning provincial teams go to the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club for the nationals, from November 23-28, 2015.
