As was announced earlier, we are VERY excited to let you know that “Pod” curling is starting up, using groups, referred to as “Pods” of up to four teams! Stay tuned as announcements continue for our various evenings and our daytime curling.
We are pleased to announce that our Wednesday Evenings will be starting back on Wednesday, February 9th, with a three-week “mini round” where the teams in each of our two eight-team pools (as selected at the end of Round One) have been divided into two four-team “Pods” (Pod One will have the odd-numbered teams, while Pod Two will have the even-numbered teams). Each Pod will play a round-robin, totalling three games/weeks per team in the round. We will record results with the same scoresheet style we have been using, and declare winners for each Pod, but teams will NOT move up or down the ladder following the mini-round. We are hoping that regular ladder league play will be possible following the mini-round.
