Congratulations to Etta Reid, Elaine Hughes, and super spare Shane Morrison on their win in the 2026 Cornwall Cup Stick Curling Club Championship!

It was a great event with twelve teams entering.  

Alan Stefanik provided an excellent lunch (and managed to feed us all even with the manager accidently telling him how many teams we were having, not how many people we were feeding!).

Friday saw some great curling with a couple of teams being very strong in the divisional round robin.  The club manager even managed to squeak into the playoffs for the first time ever thanks to his lovely partner!

Saturday had more great curling – and lots of upsets with five of the seven games being won by the lower seed!

At the end of the day, Etta & Shane defeated George & Patsy to secure the victory and the chance to hold the coveted and priceless Cornwall Cup trophy, while Myrna & Shirley defeated Barry & Roy in the bronze game.
