Blue ahead after Little Rockers/Novice Red vs. Blue kickoff event!

Our Little Rockers and Novice curlers kicked off our “Red and Blue Club-Wide Points Race” on April 10th with some FUN games of curling!
16 of our 30 Little Rockers and Novice curlers participated, and we had games on sheets 1, 3 and 4!

This event provided another opportunity for the young curlers to have a chance to hone the game skills that they have been learning about throughout the year; including on-ice strategy, sportsmanship, and even learning about scoreboard calculations!
Blue won on sheets 1 and 3, Red won on sheet 4!
This started out points for our “Club Wide Red and Blue Points Race” with Red earning 10 points and Blue earning 20!

Thank you to our curlers for participating… !

Our Novice curlers will have one more instruction session on Tuesday, April 19th from 4:45 pm to 6:00 pm.

Then we will wind up our Little Rockers and Novice programs on our last day of our curling season on Sunday, April 24th with a “Skate on the Ice” for all Little Rockers and Novice Instructional curlers from 12:45 to 2 pm, followed by hot chocolate. All curlers should bring their skates and helmets to skate on this ice…and have some fun!

It’s been a great year and curlers have been such a valued part of our curling club community!
