You DON’T want to miss out on the final (adult) event of the 2021-2022 curling season — the Friday evening April 22 and Saturday, April 23 Skins Format Grand Finale (and also our Friday, April 22 Daytime Red vs. Blue Event). Both events promise great curling and a TON of FUN!

Registration Fee: $35 for the Friday Night Saturday Finale or $20.00 for the Daytime event. Pay when you arrive on April 22nd for both events. Open to all Cornwall Curling Club Members!!

Info on the Grand Finale Event: Points are accumulated from the other Red vs. Blue events and added to the points from this “Grand Finale” event to decide the final winning colour (and main prize winners) – Red or Blue!This is a single entry event, and returnees will be assigned the same colour as last year, and we will select the colour for new entries. Wear your colours proudly! Prize for best costume! The annual challenge in this regard is to beat Paul Neima and Debby Sigsworth! Here they are from some past years!
Teams will play three games, First draw will be at 5:30 pm on Friday, April 22nd.Skins Format. Complete rules will be posted. In summary, the Skins format differs from regular curling in that a dollar value is awarded for each end won, with the value for each end increasing as the game progresses. An end is won if the team with last rock advantage scores two or more points. or the opposing team steals the end with at least one point. If neither of these occurs, the dollars are carried over to the next end and the total value at stake grows. This results in a very exciting offensive style of play where every end is like the final end of the game with teams going all out to win.
