Condolences to the family of Audrey Katherine Godfrey

The club and its members would like to express our condolences to the family of Audrey Katherine Godfrey (nee MacPhail), who is the mother of club member Gloria Turner.

Audrey Katherine Godfrey nee MacPhail

June 17, 1933 – September 22, 2024

The death occurred peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024 of Audrey Katherine Godfrey (nee MacPhail) of Cornwall, age 91 years.

Beloved wife of the late Harold Raymond Godfrey. Loving mother of Gloria Turner, Don (June), Pam (Athol Currie), and Paul (Amanda), Nannie of Angela, Kathy Ann, Andrew, Robert, Jillian, Michael and Jake and Great-Nannie of Jack, Lucy, Elliot, Grace, Henry, Kai, Ella, Tori, Luca, Addison, and Audrey. Survived by siblings Blois (Edith) MacPhail, Ruth Roggeveen, and Verna Clow and sisters-in-law Mary MacPhail, Jean Godfrey and Ferne MacPhail. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by grandson Stephen Turner, daughter-in-law Janice Godfrey, siblings Norman, Heath (Wendy), Jean (Gary) Smith, and David MacPhail, siblings-in-law Joe Roggeveen, Bobby Clow, Stan Godfrey, Evelyn (Tom) Rogers and Phyllis (Doug) Parker.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from West River United Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Cornwall Cemetery.
