Here’s the details:

The Countryview Golf Course Closing Bonspiel will be held April 1st and 2nd. Entry fee is $30 per person, and entry is limited to the first 96 to signup. Non-members are welcome, too. The signup sheet is now up at the Club, and filling fast (there were over 20 names when I left last night).

“Demolition Derby” is this year’s theme, as it is the last event before club demolition/renovations start, so come prepared!

Friday April 1

 There will be curling, treats and entertainment, with tickets being sold on a reverse draw to win a one night membership for next season.

Saturday April 2

(start time depends on number of entries).  The day will start with morning treats, and lunch (noon-1 pm ) will be from the barbecue. Besides curling, there will be other entertainment throughout the day. Supper will be provided, too (menu to follow later). 

Don’t forget to wear your team colour proudly, as we will continue our classic Closing Spiel “Red vs Blue” battle.
