The 2026 Kenmac Energy Bonspiel is this weekend, January 9-10, 2026.
This will be the 39th year that Kenmac has sponsored an event at the Cornwall Curling Club and we are very appreciative of their continued support.
We are looking forward to a great weekend of curling, food and fun!
We are still very much in need of VOLUNTEERS! If you are available to help with any of the open slots, please call the club, email the manager, or sign up on the bulletin board.
IF YOU NEED A SPARE during the event please reach out to those listed below – these members had hoped to participate in the event so we’d love for them to be able to join us as well. Invariably issues arise requiring a spare, so please try these folks first!
The rules are unchanged from last year, but please review them.
A few key points:
- Skip and mate must be of different genders (meaning they actually have to throw skip and mate rocks)
- See buzzer rules – please keep pace of play going!
- Remember – please be ready to curl 15 minutes before your scheduled start time – we did adjust the schedule last year to allow for pebbling – and with people being here early we were actually able to stay on target with the schedule pretty well!
FOOD: If you have dietary restrictions please let the manager know ASAP so we can arrange appropriate food for you during the event.
