Ladder League Round Three starts Wednesday

Round two finished on February 17, with the Bob Fowler rink finishing atop the A pool with a 5-1 win-loss record. Bob MacWilliams, with two losses, was runner-up. There were five teams at 3-3, skipped by John DeLuca, Angus Kennedy, Rupert Sweetapple, Karen Currie and Veronica Smith.  After comparing their scores, the John DeLuca rink had the fewest points, and will move down the ladder to the B pool for the final round. They’ll be joined by the Jeff Taylor rink, who finished at 2-4, and the Hank Kamphuis team, who had one win against five losses.
In the B pool, Derek Gallant went undefeated to move on up to the A pool for the final round Also going  up the ladder are the Karen Montgomery and Paul Neima teams, who had 4-2 records. Five teams finished at 3-3: Ray Biagé, Chris Hodgson, Kathy Reeves, Joerg Soltermann, and Martin Vanderaa., while Colleen Soltermann’s team had one win and five losses.
We will finish up the season with a seven week final round, ending on April 7.  The Rupert Sweetapple rink are heading south for the final round, and will not be joining us, so there will be eight teams in the A pool (no byes), and nine in the B.
