Do you have a team that’s still looking to curl this year? We currently have ten teams, and have openings for 2, 4, or 6 more teams in our Wednesday evening Ladder League. This team-entry league is less competitive than our Tuesday evening league, and has two pools, with 2-3 teams from the A pool dropping down to the B pool after each round, while 2-3 teams from the B pool go up to the A pool. A less experienced team may be in the B pool the entire season, while a more experienced team could stay in the A pool, which helps keep the games closer.

Draw times are 6:30 and 8:30 pm, and you curl in BOTH timeslots on alternating nights in each round. Teams stay together all season. As many of our curlers curl only in this draw, we want to avoid byes, so, the odd numbered team in would be waitlisted until another team arrives. 

The next round starts on November 30. New teams would play another new team in a qualifier game on November 23, with the winner going to the A pool for round 2, and the runner-up going to the B pool. Teams can be all male, all female, or any combination, and juniors are welcome too. There are prizes for the A and B pool winners at the end of each round. Memberships would be pro-rated to your start date.

Teams are expected to show up each week, and find spares (we have a list) if players can’t make it. Only one original member, and three players in total, are required to avoid a default.
