It’s my both my favourite and least favourite weekend of the season!

Least favourite because this is it – our last curling takes place as we close out the season with the Red & Yellow, but favourite because what a way to close out the season!!!

Thanks to Bryan and Eugene for their help in adjusting the teams and checking the draw.

The way the dates fell this season we are losing several members who typically curl in the event as three teams will be representing Cornwall in the PEI Club Curling Championships (best of luck!), two junior teams are heading out of town for nationals, and several members are away at the national stick curling event in Wolfville – so we are down a few teams.  However, it will still be a blast for everyone who is able to compete!

As a reminder we do our best to balance the teams based on skill levels while also taking into consideration requests for specific draw times and travel accommodations.

We are still in need of volunteers as well – but usually people hold off until they know when they’ll be curling.

As a reminder, due to the Civic Centre schedule we will be having our banquet after the final draw.  In addition to having a wonderful meal provided by Sizzler BBQ, we will also present the event awards and announce the winner of our Founders Award for Volunteer of the Year.
