It’s hard to believe but the end of the season is fast approaching.
We hope to have registration information available next week but we wanted everyone to be able to SAVE THE DATES!
- March 15th: LITTLE ROCKERS/NOVICE RED & YELLOW 12:45pm – 2:00pm
- March 15th: JUNIOR CURLERS RED & YELLOW: 2:30pm – 4:00pm
- TBD: STICK CURLERS RED & YELLOW (Probably either Monday, March 23 or Thursday, March 26th)
- March 27th: RED & YELLOW CLOSING SPIEL
- Friday Draws: 1:00pm, 6:30pm, 8:15pm
- Saturday Morning Draws: 8:30am, 10:15am, 12:00pm
- Saturday Afternoon Draws: 2:30pm, 415pm, 6:00pm
- Banquet (Sizzlers BBQ): 7:30pm
- Everyone will play one draw on Friday, one draw Saturday morning, and one draw Saturday afternoon.
- NOTE: Banquet will be after the last draw this year due to Civic Centre schedule.
For those new to the club – the Red & Yellow is our closing event each season and is open to any club member. New participants will be assigned a colour based on the registration numbers of each team and you’ll stay with that colour season after season (with rare exceptions). Spouses/partners typically are assigned to different teams to encourage the fun rivalry that goes along with the event.
At the banquet there are prizes for the highest scoring teams, random door prize draws, and we announce our Volunteer of the Year award.
It’s a great time and members often rib each other over bragging rights for the entire next season.
