Round 1 of the Thursday Mixed League came down to the last few ends as Team Sutherland (Bryan Sutherland, Angela Sanderson, Sharyn Flood, and Doug Reid) held on to win the round by 2.5 points.  

Team Cudmore (Garth Cudmore, Katelyn Burgoyne, Yaz Falzon, and Robert Bryenton) nearly overcame a 11.5 point gap going into the final game to come in 2nd place.
