We run a year long 50/50 program at the club that gives a great opportunity for curlers to win prize money and the club to raise extra funds.

Over the past few seasons we’ve passed out between $2000-$2500 each season in winnings – with prizes as high as $950!

Every member of the club, registered participant in the Monday Commercial Rental League, registered participant in the Island Pride Rental League, and parents of the clubs junior curlers (who opt in) have their name thrown in the draw jar and each Thursday a name is drawn.

If the name drawn has either 1) paid for the season or 2) paid for the week, they win the prize.

If they haven’t paid then we all have a great laugh at their misfortune and the pot continues to grow.

This year we are expanding the options for payment – you may now pay in cash (as always) or via e-transfer or cheque.
