We are pleased to announce that Brenda MacMillan will once again be coordinating our junior curling program, with programs for Little Rocks, beginning at age 7, through to Juniors (under 21).

Cornwall has a very successful Junior program, with both provincial Under 21 championship teams from last year curling out of our Club, along with the U16 women’s champ, the U13 boys champ, and members of both Junior Mixed divisional winning teams.

The beginning curling program is divided into two sessions, before and after the Christmas break, and you can sign up for one or both. The program includes beginner instruction on Sundays, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Those with more experience, in the Novice category, will go Sunday along with Thursday after school, with after-school team curling opportunities on weekdays. Junior curling starts on Thursday Oct. 24, and wraps up just before March Break. Contact the Club for more info on our junior programs.

Registration nights are the same as adult curling nights, Oct. 9, and Oct. 15-17, all beginning at 6:30 pm. There is also Junior league play at the Club on Oct. 19 and 26, from 8-noon (see separate message on this).

Junior rates are as follows:

Little Rockers – $45 for one session, $80 for both sessions
Novice (8-12) and Juniors (13-20) – $120
Junior Membership + one evening draw – $220

HST and a $15 Canadian Curling Association/Curl PEI fee will be added to these membership rates.
