Deadline is Sunday to enter your team in our Club Ch’ships. 4 men’s, 2 women’s teams so far.

Sign your men’s or women’s team up at the Club by this Sunday, February 21st for our Club Championships, which will take place Friday March fifth and Saturday the sixth. The winning men’s and women’s teams will advance to the PEI Championships, March 26-30, 2021 just 20 minutes down the road at the Crapaud Community Curling Club!

We have 4 men’s and 2 women’s rinks signed up so far. We also have a female player looking for a team, so if you are a women’s team looking for an extra person, get in touch with the Club.

If you win at Crapaud, you will advance to the Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships, planned for Nov. 28- Dec. 4, 2021 at one of the nicest curling and golf facilities you’ll find anywhere, the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club!

Click for Curling Canada’s announcement on the venue for the Canadian championships.

And before you say you can’t win, did you know that we’ve already HAD a Canadian champ from this event and that venue?

We’ve also co-hosted the Canadian Curling Club Championships, and know that the attendees have a fantastic time and are treated like royalty!

Currently, we only have three men’s and no women’s teams signed up for our Club Ch’ships. By the way, there’s a newer member (male) who is looking to join a team, if you are seeking a player. You can contact the Club at (902) 566-4427 or cornwallcurling@eastlink.ca for his contact info.

Please pay the $120 per team entry fee to our Manager, and make sure that team members meet all eligibility criteria. A portion of the entry fee is paid out in prize money.

Eligibility criteria: https://cornwallcurling.com/2021/02/03/curling-club-championships-eligibility-requirements-from-curling-canada/

Competition format will depend on the number of entries. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Peter Murdoch at jpmurdoch@eastlink.ca
