The Murphy’s Ice Queens Funspiel was held this past Saturday, December 2nd at the club with thirty one ladies participating.  

Thank you to all who made this event possible – including Shauna McGill and Sue Pollard who helped organize and the many volunteers who came out Saturday.  

Winning the event with 44 points was Team Currie:

1st Place – Team Currie Karen Currie, Marg Stewart, Jean Anderson, and Nancy Fitzgerald

Being down a curler didn’t slow down Team Ebbett, who placed 2nd with 38 points:

2nd Place: Team Ebbett Shelley Ebbett, Sarah Doak, and Valerie Beer

Third place was Team Kennedy with 35 points:

3rd Place: Team Kennedy Carol Kennedy, Nicole Phillips, Karen Martell, and Donna Marie

Other prizes went to: 

• Team Sweetapple for 4th place
• Team Field for Most Enthusiastic
• Team Bodner for winning the trivia
