The third and final round of the season for the Wednesday evening Ladder League wrapped up last night, with the Ray Biagé  rink winning the A pool, and the Paul Neima team taking the B. Sponsor for this round was Clyde River Golf Links. The winning teams from both pools will be receiving prizes for winning the round.

The Biagé rink, which included third Mark MacDonald, second Rebecca Rolfe, and lead Derek MacEwen, had only one loss in the five week round – the same record as the Paul Durant team, but they beat Durant in their round robin encounter and take first place.

The Neima team won all four of their games in the round (they had one bye). The Donald DeWolfe rink were runners-up, with one loss and a bye. The Joe Mackinnon foursome had the same record, but lost to DeWolfe in their game. The Neima rink includes third Dwayne McNeill, second Joe Callaghan, and lead Ankur Deshpande

Round Three B pool: Paul Neima, Dwayne McNeill, Joe Callaghan, Ankur Deshpande

We missed four weeks this season due to inclement weather (which always seemed to arrive on Wednesday!) and had an extra week off at Christmas due to Christmas and New Year’s days being on Wednesday, and wish to thank everyone for sticking with us, with these issues to deal with.  See you again next season!
