Dolan and O’Shea team win our 9th Annual Mixed Doubles Cashspiel!

There was some fantastic curling this past Saturday during our Annual Mixed Doubles Cash Spiel!

We extend a big congratulations to the Team Sinead Dolan/Mitch O’Shea as they were awarded the Overall Winners for the day and took home an envelope of winnings!

Congratulations also go out to Alexis Burris and Calvin Smith and Joanne and Paul Durant who tied for second place!

Division 2 winners were Alexis Burris and Calvin Smith, while Karen Currie and Danny Kneabone won Division 3.

This event was a super fun way to spend a cool winter Saturday and we could not be more grateful to spiel sponsor Peake and McInnis Insurance Ltd. for their generous support!

The lunch that Peake & McInnis offered was absolutely delicious and we are proud the yummy homemade beef noodle soup and buns were from our local (and awesome!) community restaurant Sam’s Family Restaurant & Lounge in Cornwall!

The day started with a sweet continental breakfast that was proudly donated by Rowing PEI Junior Team -Canada Games 2022… (who will be curling in the Curl for Cancer Spiel next weekend!)
