2024-25 SEASON SCHEDULE OVERVIEW
From Little Rocks to daytime curlers, many of whom are seniors, the Cornwall Curling Club has a curling draw for curlers of all ages and experience levels.
SUNDAYS
- Members Practice Time: 9:00am – 10:00am
- Sunday Morning Drop-In Curling: 10:00am – 12:00pm
- Members Practice Time: 10:00am – 11:00am
- Members Practice Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm
- Little Rockers (6-7) & Novice (8-12) Instructional Programs: 12:45pm – 2:00pm
- Junior Hot Chocolate Break: 2:00pm – 2:30pm
- Sunday Junior Program (13-18): 2:30pm – 4:00pm
- U18 Learn to Curl Program (13-18): 2:30pm – 4:00pm
- Adult Learn to Curl Program: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
- ParaSport Learn to Curl: 4:30pm -6:00pm
- Members Practice Time: 6:15pm – 7:15pm
- Members Practice Time: 7:15pm – 8:15pm
MONDAYS
- Morning Drop-in: 10:00am – 12:00pm
- This is a great social atmosphere for those who would like to curl during the morning hours. It is a single-entry draw with teams being made up each day based on who is in attendance. Please arrive by 9:45am so the drawmasters have time to organize teams.
- Afternoon Drop-in Stick Curling: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- Two-person stick curling is a fast growing version of the sport which provides challenge and excitement for people of all ages on an equal and competitive basis, and in a social atmosphere. It is a single-entry draw with teams being made up each day based on who is in attendance – though occasionally we allow teams to play together to prepare for upcoming events. Please arrive by 12:15pm so the drawmasters have time to organize teams.
- Junior Team Practices: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- Monday Mixed League: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
- This is a fun, recreational, single-entry draw with teams are made up by the drawmaster and changed every seven weeks.
- Monday Commercial League: 8:30pm – 10:30pm
- This is a fun draw for company/organization-sponsored teams, or friends who want to curl as a group. Players can change or rotate from week to week.
TUESDAYS
- Morning Drop-in: 10:00am – 12:00pm
- Afternoon Drop-in Stick Curling: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- Junior Team Practices: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
- Novice Instructional Program (Ages 8-12): 5:00pm – 6:00pm
- Upstreet Competitive League: 6:30pm – 8:30pm/8:30pm – 10:30pm
- This is a team-entry draw for our club’s most competitive teams.
WEDNESDAYS
- Wednesday Daytime Competitive League: 10:00am – 12:00pm/12:30pm – 2:30pm.
- This is a team-entry draw for our club’s competitive daytime curlers.
- Junior Team Practices: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- Wednesday Ladder League: 6:30pm – 8:30pm/8:30pm – 10:30pm
- This is a team-entry draw for semi-competitive teams; teams remain the same for the curling season, and move between pools or stay put (depending on their record in the previous round). Within each round, pools alternate between 6:30pm and 8:30pm draws.
THURSDAYS
- Morning Drop-in: 9:30am – 11:30am
- NOTE: Morning Drop-in is earlier on Thursdays this year.
- Thursday Stick League: 11:45am – 4:00pm
- This is a team-entry ladder league; teams remain the same for the curling season, and move between pools or stay put (depending on their record in the previous round). Within each round, pools alternate between 11:45am draws and 2:00pm draws.
- Junior Team Practices: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
- Thursday Mixed League: 6:30pm – 8:30pm/8:30pm – 10:30pm.
- This is single-entry league with teams being made up by the Draw Master and changed every seven weeks. Depending on the draw schedule some weeks you would play at 6:30pm while other weeks you would play at 8:30pm.
FRIDAYS
- Morning Drop-in: 10:00am – 12:00pm
- Afternoon Drop-in Stick Curling: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- Members Practice Schedule (depending on availability): 4:00pm – 5:00pm
- Members Practice Schedule (depending on availability): 5:00pm – 6:00pm

This relaxing league is a great way to end your week and kick off the weekend with fun and exercise in a six-end fun draw.

SATURDAYS
- U16 Curling League
- Competitive round-robin held across the season, as available when not used for club events or provincial/national championships, and when Junior teams don’t have major events.
- Saturdays are also open for ice rentals by individuals, groups, companies, organizations, etc. when not used for club events or provincial/national championships

As per tradition and club policy, there will be days during the season where we host rentals, bonspiels and/or provincial events.
