Good Day Curlers …

We do not usually make the decision to cancel curling this early in the day, however given there are an extra couple of weeks available this year in the club schedule to have make up games for evening leagues, that there is a special weather advisory with heavy snow, and winds are expected to increase… this means road conditions are expected to get worse.

Therefore the club will close today effective at 12 noon (April 4th,2022) . The only exception to this is Stick Curlers who may have already travelled to the club. Our Ice Technician will be on-site (as our Club Manager was off-site at an appointment this morning), and he will attend to the club, and/or make any decisions to close up if need be.

So if you are a Stick Curler, a Monday Junior Practice Curler, a Monday Evening Mixed Curler or a Monday Evening Commercial League Curler… there will be no curling today, and the clubhouse is closed.

Junior Curlers scheduled for practice today can email the club at cornwallcurling@eastlink.ca to re-schedule their practice times. There is availability on Wednesday from 4pm to 5pm, or we can work together to find another time.
