Building on the success of our Friday Night League last season, we are excited to announce a new name and invite ALL our members, both returning and new, to join our Friday Night Fun League for the 2021-22 season!!Each evening starts with a six-end team draw promptly at 6:30 pm, and possibly a second draw (depending on signup numbers) commencing between 8 and 8:30 pm. If there are two draws, your curling times will alternate between the two times throughout the season. The Draw Master will endeavour to make the draws times as balanced as possible between all teams.
After your game, you are, of course, invited to stick around for a “sociable” with your team and your opponents!
You can enter as a team, as a single entry, or in twos or threes. You will register for your membership individually but when you select your “League” you can let us know your team members. Please note: when you are filling out your requested team members, fill out those you know, and then in any available spaces write: “unknown”. This will tell the Draw Masters who you would like on your team (if you have a preference) and indicate that you will need to be matched if not having a full team. If you have no specific teammates, just type “unknown” in all spaces where it asked your team members, and the Drawmaster will match you with a team.
As we mentioned, it’s open to ALL current and new Club members. As with all leagues, 2020-21 returning members who curled in the league will be offered a league spot first, followed by 2020-21 returning members from other leagues, both of whom can register online beginning on September 27th, 2021 at 9 am or in person starting the following Monday. New members can then register on October 11th, 2021.

Follow the steps requested and don’t forget you must purchase your membership first under “products”, then you must purchase your “league”.
After registration deadlines are met, the teams are put together and posted by the Draw Master, who will attempt (as much as possible) to balance teams and positions based on player ability.
This league is planned to begin play on Friday, October 22nd and run until Friday, March 5th. There will be no curling on November 12th, January 28th, and February 25th, due to club events*
When registering for this or any other league(s), please remember that you must select your membership profile and then your league(s) preferences.
During the 2021-22 season, we may be practicing social distancing and all health and safety protocols will be enacted as per our Club Operational Manual(s), and ‘Return to Play’ policies. For more information on this, please inquire with the league Draw Master or the Club Manager.
*A season schedule will be provided as a part of our Club Calendar, advising specific dates of curling sessions at the start of the season. Every attempt will be made to meet those dates. However, the Cornwall Curling Club reserves the right to re-schedule (when possible) and/or cancel sessions due to weather and/or club events, without compensation (as our club offers “Membership” profiles (not “ice time”). Every possible effort will always be made to allow for teams to re-schedule their games due to cancellation times related to weather or club events.
