Last Day of ParaSport Program Sunday 12 noon to 12:50 pm

A Notice to All ParaSport Athletes ….

Just a reminder to the Parasport ‘ Learn To Curl ‘ participants: tomorrow  (Sunday) will be the last day/ session of the 2021-22 curling season.

The session will start at 12 noon and end about ten minutes earlier than usual (approx. 12:50 pm), as we need to remove or adjust the rocks for our Little Rockers and Novice Curlers who will be skating on the ice starting at 1 pm.

We will have some hot chocolate for ParaSport participants if they would like to enjoy one after curling and have some social time… Our bar/concession will also be open for beverages, socials, and snacks.

It has been a great year of ParaSport curling! Thank you to all participants to taking part.
A special thank you to Tracy Stevenson and Kyla Dunn with ParaSport PEI for leading ParaSport in our partnership for this programming.

We also extend a very heartfelt thank you to our own Board of Director Member and Curling Development Chair Mr. Bill McGuire for his time in leading instruction in the ‘Learn to Curl’ Program.
Thank you Bill! Your time and wonderful disposition are always so appreciated. You continue to play a critical role in our sport, and in helping us to grow the game!

Bill also had help in instructing from Club Member Landon Warder, who has always provided such outstanding service to his home club. Landon is an excellent curler and coach! Landon’s Dad Peter also helped with the programming this year. Thank you Peter!

Have a great summer everyone !
