Reminder: Swing and Sweep your way from golf to curling on October 16!

Swing and Sweep! Join us for 9 holes of golf, a fall lunch, and some afternoon curling!

This super fun event will take place on Saturday, October 16th, our first day of curling (and maybe your last day of golf?)  for the 2021-22 season!

This is a single-entry event. Our Draw Master will make up teams of four. Participants will be matched on teams to avoid any stacking.

We will golf a 9-hole scramble format at Countryview Golf Club (Route19 in Fairview) with tee times starting at 9 am (rules to be announced when the draw is distributed). Then we will head to the Cornwall Curling Club for 12:30 pm lunch of fall stew, fresh buns, and dessert, followed by afternoon curling with your team until approximately 5 pm!

Team points will be accumulated between golf and curling and we will announce a winner at the end of the day!

There is room for only 32 participants in this event so make sure you register early at https://cornwall.curling.io/en/products/5165-2021-22-swing-and-sweep-golf-curling-event-oct-16th-2021 or by emailing the curling club at cornwallcurling@eastlink.ca.

Teams will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled. Deadline to register is 5 pm on Sunday, October 10th.  Cornwall Curling Club Member registrations will be given first priority.

Cost for lunch and curling ($20.00+HST)  will be paid to the curling club via payment made via credit card on Curling I/O, or can be made in person at the Club.

Golf fees will be paid directly to Countryview Golf Club (price TBA) when you arrive at the course.Contingency plan:
In case of rain on the morning of October 16th, we will curl in the morning instead of golf, have lunch, and then curl some more! Cost will then be $35.00 (includes HST) and will be payable to the Club on the day of the event. If you have pre-paid your $20.00+HST registration it will be applied and you will only owe $12.00.
