Reminder: Volunteers needed starting Saturday to help prepare our ice shed and install our ice!

The 2021-22 season is upon us and we are really excited for another year of curling!

Of course with such anticipation ~ we must first have some ice to curl on…!

With that, we invite volunteers to support our Ice Technician in preparing the ice shed and installing our ice surface!

The first two weeks of the ice installation require some extra support. The work generally requires extra hands to hold hoses during flooding, help paint, cut circles, and general prep…etc…

We have an incredibly talented group of volunteers who help every year with the ice installation, and their experience and time spent with our club is invaluable! They know the ‘in’s and outs’ of ice installation and in recent years have been a tremendous help to our newest Ice Maker, as they were in past! Thank you, everyone! Our hope this year is to welcome some new volunteers who can be mentored by some of our veteran volunteers under the guidance of our Ice Technician, Brent.

And so this year….we invite YOU to join us!

Of course, as with the history of our club~ many hands make light work. We do not want any small group of people to be overly taxed, so we have broken down what we will need and ask that you sign up for times and days when you can. Even one day of help is appreciated!

You can sign up by contacting our Ice Technician Brent by phone at 902-218-7910 or via email at brentirving67@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your support of the club!  We look forward to seeing you!
