He dropped off some fruit again… for all of us to enjoy.
Apples and oranges.

He does this every now and then…
quietly walks in with big, teeming boxes, and humbly places them in the back for us to offer to our community.

These big bowls of lively fruit greet us when we walk in the door….and brightened a winter room. So many different club members have enjoyed them these few days~ young curlers, to seniors, and all of us in between.

Each at a different moment enjoying the bliss of such a sweet gift.

It feels like the bowls are overflowing and endless, and they magically fill up.

They feel so sturdy in a cool hand… and the colours bright and cheerful.
Apples so crispy …and juicy.
They have to be thee best oranges we have ever tasted.
Sweet and vibrant.
Joy wrapped in a thick peel.

We are so very lucky to have such incredible friends of our club. He knows that our community is special. He knows that where there are special people you should be able to observe the slight scent of orange citrus and hear the crisp mouthful of a juicy apple during long winter months…between our lovely conversations, and throws of rocks, and sweeping of brooms, and “hurry hard”s…

A big thank you and much gratitude for such beautiful harvest.
